Lakhi Siap is well known for his passion of community building and connecting the diaspora of next generation Filipino American leaders back to the Philippines. He has been organizing cultural immersion programs and trade missions since 2013 and regularly gives workshops in US Universities on Filipino American identity and the need for FilAm executive leadership and representation across various industries. In 2015 he was selected by the former Philippine Ambassador to the US, Jose Cuisia Jr., to be part of the Filipino American Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO), a program that brings high-performing, next-generation leaders to the Philippines and provides them access to a distinguished network of captains of industry and government in order to bridge connection between Filipinos and Fil-Am issues and create legacy projects to better the Philippines and the Filipino American community. In 2016 he took on the role of serving as the Immersion Program director of the organization. He also serves as an adviser for the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA), the Kaya Collaborative (Kayaco) & the Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce (FPACC). He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois and regularly travels between US and the Philippines operating a multicultural marketing agency and is a partner at a cyber security firm, Pacific Cyber Security.
